The Inverted Orthotic Technique is an orthotic manufacturing process to help patients with overpronation problems from children with flat feet to adults with collapsing arches. It can also be utilized for runners with over pronation, knee and hip problems where foot alignment changes may help, and many other conditions. This blog was created as a continuation to the book being published entitled "The Inverted Orthotic Technique: A Process of Foot Stabilization for Pronated Feet"

5 to 1 Ratio of Cast Correction to Actual Foot Change
The Inverted Orthotic Technique is a manufacturing process to help change foot position. After years of study, it was concluded that on average a 25 degree Inverted Cast Modification should correct the foot into 5 degrees more varus alignment. This holds true for 35 degrees correction making 7 degrees change, etc.
